By downloading, installing, or using GATE Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

📱 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GATE Tracker for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

You May:

• Download and install the App on your personal devices
• Use the App for tracking your GATE exam preparation
• Backup and restore your study data using our cloud features
• Share feedback and suggestions for improvement

You May Not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
• Copy, distribute, or create derivative works
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

👤 User Accounts

To access certain features of GATE Tracker, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

☁️ Cloud Services

GATE Tracker offers cloud backup and restore functionality through Google Drive integration. By using this feature:

• You authorize us to access files created by GATE Tracker in your Google Drive
• You understand that backup availability depends on your Google Drive storage quota
• You are responsible for managing your Google Drive storage
• You can revoke access to Google Drive at any time through your Google account settings

📊 User Content

You retain all rights to the study data, notes, and other content you create in GATE Tracker ("User Content"). By using our App, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your User Content to provide our services
• Backup your User Content to Google Drive (if you enable this feature)
• Use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and app improvements

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing it.

⚠️ Disclaimers

No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security or absence of viruses

Third-Party Content

The syllabus content, study materials, and exam information provided in GATE Tracker are for reference purposes only. We do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness. Always refer to official GATE sources for authoritative information.

🚫 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GATE Tracker and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or study progress
• Loss of profits or exam opportunities
• Interruption of use or service
• Cost of substitute services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (if applicable).

🔄 Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App or any features at any time
• Update these Terms at any time
• Require updates to continue using the App

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.

🔚 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to GATE Tracker immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• At your request

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may delete your account and data at any time.

🌍 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

🔖 Miscellaneous

Severability

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GATE Tracker regarding the use of the App.

Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
